Women cannot save the Catholic church. It needs to be disbanded permanently.

I think women have endured enough of this stuff for centuries . Let them save themselves. Most women will protect their young and these old farts at the Vatican would be scared if women marched on them but they are a lost cause. They can suffer the downfall. In the last days women will turn away from them. The only people that are in the churches now are old women. Where do the old nuns stand on this one? They already have nuns and I don't think having more women in this corrupt institution will save them. Good riddance to rubbish. They need to start over and do the Jewish Jesus movement instead where women are included.

this is b.s. this seems to be the only all men group that this junk is happening with, you aren't reading about all the boy scout leaders screwing the boys, this paticular catholic church needs to be destroyed it does not represent a rightious path in any fashion, they riddled the laws of the bible back in the past to accomodate for their corruption, all accepted it, they fondle, beat and rape male children have for years, they said they were sorry all accepted it, its time to realize they are a wolf, the wool is in the corner in a pile, they lie, cheat, rape, steal, decide who joins and who don't, who the hell are they? in my eyes they are garbage, you follow them, they'll lead you to hell, as for the more women part why they'd just rape and beat them also......

The Catholic Church needs to stop associating transformation with falling from grace.

      1) Reading this article made me think of how many times institutions and societies in the Middle East are criticized for being male dominates, segregating women and imposing a concealing dress codes. And here we have practices & traditons within the Catholic Church that seem to either contradict this criticism, or actually offer a way to understand why this phenomenon occurs.

      2) Is the Caholic Church one of the last surviving links to the Ancient Roman Empire? As odd as this sounds, it's structure and organization seem consistent with the mode of government that was present at the time when Jess was Crucified.

Rome fell because it couldnt adapt to the new thinking embraced by the Church. The Church would do well to learn from this experience.
